Twisted Root Burger Co. is definitely one of the best loud and childish burger family spots in the Triple-D. We were definitely curious about the notoriously-bad customer service, and didn’t know what to expect. As we entered, we were greeted by a cheerful (insert sarcasm here) cashier, who gave us ONE second to look over the menu. As we glanced over the chalkboard menu, there were a number of appetizers and burgers, which included turkey and veggie, salads, house-made root beer, many locally-owned beers, as well as multiple choices of flavored pickles. After we ordered, we were given a card with Chris Tucker’s name. It didn't take long for our order to be ready, "Chris Tucker, your order is ready. Come pick it up, and carry it to your table!" We sat and enjoyed a couple of big, sloppy burgers on a toasted sesame-seed bun, fried pickles, and the funny customer service. It was definitely a great burger experience! Would we go back to Twisted Root? Absolutely.
