The rapper, Willie Maxwell, also known as Fetty Wap, was born on June 7, 1991. The name Fetty Wap originated from the word money (fetty) and the fact that he is known for making money, "wap.”

Have you ever wondered what happened to Fetty Wap’s eye? Me too! In an interview, Fetty Wap stated he was involved in an accident that gave him congenital glaucoma in both eyes. The doctor was only able to save one of his eyes. Fetty didn't want to go too far into detail. He is still very blessed even with partial vision!

The new artist has had plenty of hits this year. His "679" arrived at No.8 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart and "Trap Queen" being listed as No. 19 on the Hot 100 chart.
