Sports Talk with Kam

This week I turned my pen and pad over to my kiddo uno and it's all about the rookies.

With NFL football quickly approaching, let's take a quick look at some of the rookies I think will have breakout rookie campaigns:

Tre'davious White:  This rookie turned out four good seasons for LSU and was, in my opinion, one of the top cornerbacks in the nation. He was a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, which is awarded to the nation’s top defensive back in the SEC who has the best college competition, which makes it more impressive. I think White will have a solid rookie season for the Bills.

Jabril Peppers: Peppers was one of the nation’s most versatile players last season for Michigan. He was used in numerous roles and performed well in each. This rookie looks promising and will probably be used in more than just a safety role. Look out for him to have a breakout rookie season.

Corey Davis: Davis played receiver for Western Michigan and was very productive in his time there. Critics say that his lack of competition in college will hurt him in his transition to the NFL, but I think that he will turn out a very productive rookie season.

We know which rookies Kam will be looking out for. Who is your favorite rookie?
