Music festivals provide possibilities for great entertainment year-round. They are not only a thing of the summer. Check out this list of four popular fall music festivals that you should know about!  

Roots Picnic NYC

After nine years of hosting their long-running musical festival in their hometown of Philadelphia, the popular band, The Roots, will expand the Roots Picnic to NYC.  The festival will take place in New York’s Bryant Park October 1-2 2016. Headliners include, of course, The Roots, along with D’Angelo, John Mayer, Wu-Tang Clan, David Byrne, and Nile Rodgers.  Ticket pricing and other event details can be found at www.rootspicnic.com.

Austin City Limits

This much anticipated festival, going on its second decade, boasts an array of performers over two weekends.  The diverse lineup for 2016 includes artists such as Flume, Flying Lotus, Kendrick Lamar, and Willie Nelson.  The festival takes place in Zilker Park in Austin, TX, September 30-October 9, 2016. VooDoo Experience

Thousands gather in New Orleans annually for this large-scale musical festival.  The festival includes popular touring bands as well as local favorites. This year’s VooDoo Experience will be held October 28-30 at City Park.  Visits www.voodoofestival.com for more information.

Suwannee Hulaween

Music lovers will flock to Live Oak, FL for Suwannee Hulaween Fest October 28-30 2016.  The increasingly popular band, The String Cheese Incident, will headline for all 3 nights of the festival.  Ticket prices and other festival information can be found at www.suwanneehulaween.com.
